It amazes me how interchangeable the English vocabulary is. We
have two words that sound alike and their spelling are comprised of the exact
same letters but, they have different meanings. We’ve read in Scripture where
we are to bear the infirmities of the
weak which means to support or help uphold those that are going through.
Lord, you have assigned
me my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. Psalm 16:5 (NIV)
Since Psalm 16:5 reminds us that it is God who gives us our
portion in life (the good as well as what he allows that is bad), and we can
have confidence in knowing that we are destined to win in this war we’ve become
a part of since saying YES to Jesus. Because we win and know beforehand God
will deliver us, we can bare our cup
to others so that they too may know our God is indeed a deliver.
Will you bare your cup with others? The definition of bare
means to expose or to uncover. Will you share with others the things God has
delivered you from? Remember, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the words of our testimony!
Your thoughts?
