This Place

4 And why have ye brought up the congregation of the Lord into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there? 5 And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? It is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink. Numbers 20:4-5

We’ve all been there at one time or another, where we feel we’re at the bottom and there’s no way up. It’s dark, cold, and most times, lonely. But this evil place the scripture speaks of is not a place where there isn’t seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates, or any water to drink. We must change our perspective. What has been sanctioned by God, shall live and perform its purpose! As my pastor, Lawrence Taylor taught just last night, “God creates everything with seed.” So even in your dark place there’s a seed and that seed is you. There’s water; the Holy Spirit resides in you. There’s also fruit; the fruit of the Spirit has been produced in you.

So if God allowed you to walk through the valley of shadow of death, you are to fear no evil for He is with you and is preparing you for the blessing at the end of it; be it a spiritual or natural blessing or maybe even both. The question is, ARE YOU READY to go through?

Your thoughts!
