In some museums there are guides to escort you through the
building to show the many pieces of art on display. In order to see the more
important exhibits, one would have to place their trust in the guide and assume
the premiere exhibits will be shown that day.
Direct my footsteps
according to your word; let no sin rule over me. Psalms 119:133
Those of us who place our trust in God also have a guide. We
actually have a few guides. We are instructed to be led by the Spirit of God as well as be led by the Word of God. The Word of God is our map and it will take us to
the places God has predestined us to travel: if we follow it. If you’re like
me, there are times when I think I know where I’m going (without consulting my
Creator) and I end up not only wasting precious time, but also in situations
and places I should not be. You see, it’s in those places that sin awaits us.
But the Psalmist states, our steps should be directed according to Truth (the
Word) so sin won’t have dominion (rule) over us.
If you plan on going somewhere in life, let God take you
there!
Your thoughts!
For quite some time I have been asking for God's will to be done in my life because too often I made plans for my life that didn't seem to work out. It was probably back in 2009 that my prayers began and ended with "Your will be done". HE has a perfect plan for our lives if we allow HIM to take us there. Although we may not arrive in the time we think we should, we will arrive in HIS perfect time.
