Scripture supports that we should speak life out of our
mouths, but so many times we find ourselves doing just the opposite.
Shelter – Something that covers or provide protection
If you say, “The Lord
is my refuge,” and you make the Most High your dwelling, no harm will overtake
you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels
concerning you to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:9-11
At the opening verse of Psalm 91, the writer states, whoever
dwells in the shelter/dwelling of the Most High will rest in His shadow. But all we have to do is SAY the
Lord is MY refuge and we can partake of His protection. Envision your shadow
and the space it takes up. Now envision the shadow of the One who is everywhere
at the same time. In other words, wherever you go, you’re protected if you
would only say and believe you have what you say. If God be
for you, who can be against you!!!
As for me and my house, we will say the Lord is my refuge (at all times)!
