I felt like doing one off the cuff today to have a partial break from the norm. I had the privilege of hanging out with some awesome young ladies this weekend. EBC-ATOM and the Dept of Health & Human Services along with Dr. Felisha Bullock, invited me to participate in their E.Y.E. (Encouraging Young Entrepreneurs) Conference in North Carolina. When I tell you these powerful young women got it going on in spite of their current circumstances, they truly inspired me. I was truly blessed to be in their presence. I will undoubtedly look for great and mighty things from them in the near future!
Just when you take time out to complain or feel bad about your own problems and begin to focus on the negative, God will show you someone else in a trial that may seem much worse than yours and you find them persevering in spite of, what?! This makes me grateful for God's grace, His favor and His love. We all have different crosses to bear, but when we're in Christ, WE HAVE TO BEAR them. The good news is we don't have to do it alone. Some of us have support systems in place, while others don't, but all of us have the One who never fails, right in our corner, keeping us from falling and presenting us faultless before God's throne. His name is Jesus. Aren't you glad you have Him? I know I am.
Well shout outs to my peeps (Young Moms) in Rocky Mount and thanks so much for sharing yourselves with me and with the world!
No good thing will God withhold from you because you CHOOSE to walk upright!
